IOC thanks 2012 volunteers via video
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) joined the celebration of the International Volunteer Day on 5th December and posted a video to thank the volunteers for the London 2012 Olympic Games and the Innsbruck 2012 Youth Olympic Games.
The video carries the uplifting title Meet the Volunteers, champions of the Olympic Games and it features the Pandemonium Drummers - both as Industrial Revolution Drummers and as Athletes' Marshals.
In a slight slip-up, the video caption labels all volunteers "Games Makers", but as one video comment rightly points out, London Ambassadors and Ceremonies Volunteers feature in the video as well and can therefore consider themselves being thanked as well.
