At St Paul's Cathedral for Children in Need

A group of 30 Pandemonium Drummers drummed on the steps in front of St Paul's Cathedral today and raised almost £250 around £300, perhaps even more, for Children in Need.

About half of the drummers appeared in the Industrial Revolution costume from the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony, whereas the other half featured the Closing Ceremony costume with the iconic lightbulb bowler hats. This enabled us to stage a drum-off, with the Brunels (Industrial Revolutionists) versus the 'Bluenells' (blue bowler hats).

This event was made possible by one of our drummers, who works at St Paul's and managed to get us a permission to play. Our thanks go to the staff of St Paul's Cathedral, who were very welcoming hosts.
