Welcome to the Pandemonium Drummers!

Charitable amateur performance group of ordinary people doing extraordinary things:

Community events, parades, festivals, happenings, specatulars, stadium performances.
We started life as the Volunteer Drummers in the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony.
Big developments ahead in the coming months!

The Christmas Number 1 Campaign

The race is on: The Games Maker Choir featuring Alistair Griffin has launched their song I Wish For You The World to the press in an attempt to top the charts this Christmas!

It is now available on Amazon and iTunes.

Press Launch at the Royal Festival Hall

Overlooking the London Eye and Westminster Palace from the top floor of the Royal Festival Hall, we Pandemonium Drummers lent our support to the Games Maker Choir again, this time welcoming journalists and media representatives in our blue bowler hat outfits.

Neatly lined up in front of the stage, we then provided the groove for the dramatic entry of the Games Maker Choir.

We also took the opportunity to make photographic wishes in support of the song - see the gallery on Facebook.

And we still hope to feature in the official music video!

Jake Humphrey and the Team GB Rowing Team

Introduced by prominent TV presenter Jake Humphrey, the Games Maker Choir and Alistair Griffin then presented their song - twice, upon request, and the second time, they were joined by the athletes of Team GB's women rowing team, who were enjoying themselves immensely both on- and off-stage.

The choir and the athletes then mingled with the media crowd, gave interviews and had numerous pictures taken - some of them with us drummers, who provided some extra lighting with the bulbs on our hats.

Alistair Griffin

Alistair Griffin talked about the journey to get the song off the ground, which included huge efforts in the background to get various Olympic and Paralympic committees on board.

After waving the Union Jack on stage, Alistair then became an honorary Olympic Closing Ceremony marshal by trying out one of our lightbulb bowler hats.

The Games Maker Choir

But the real stars of the evening were obviously the members of the Games Maker Choir, so here is our plea:

Help the Games Maker Choir reach number one this Christmas!
From 16 December 2012, you can buy the hit single I Wish For You The World from all usual outlets, including iTunes and Amazon - for less than £1!

All proceeds are donated to the British Olympic Association and British Olympic Foundation, to be used to develop and create opportunities for young people in their pursuit of Olympic and Paralympic dreams.

ABOUTPandemonium Drummers

The Pandemonium Drummers were originally put together by London 2012 Ceremonies for the Pandemonium segment of Danny Boyle's spectacular Olympic Opening Ceremony. Following the Ceremony, the volunteer drummers kept on performing at a variety of events.

The Pandemonium Drummers are a returning act in London's major parades, including the London New Years' Day Parade, St Patrick's Day Parade, and the Lord Mayor's Show, and they coined Cheer Drumming, supporting runners at major sports events across the capital and beyond. The Pandemonium Drummers are a constituted association with charitable aims, and are working on a non-profit basis as volunteers.
